The journey and transition of becoming parents (whether it’s the first time or fourth) can be a bumpy ride. The to-do lists pile up and the decisions can become exhausting…Strollers, baby names, hospital bag, etc.
I see you Mama and I’ve been in your shoes! This is why I designed my Philadelphia & Main Line Maternity & Newborn photography sessions to be as easy and effortless as possible. I do all the heavy lifting, creating an experience that all Moms deserve. On the day of your newborn session, simply arrive as you are (yes, even in sweatpants and a topknot) and we’ll handle the rest.
From hair and makeup, to wardrobe and styling, you deserve the royal treatment- after all, you just had a baby! Put your feet up, sit back, have a sip of your Starbucks and enjoy the moments as I capture some of your most precious memories.

Having a newborn is such a special time. There truly is nothing like bringing a new life into the world and then watching your little miracle grow right before your eyes. I’m here to help preserve these fleeting moments by capturing all the details of your newborn… their sweet little face, their tiny toes, and their body cradled by your arms.
Whether in-studio or in-home, newborn sessions are designed to create timeless, joy-filled memories of you and your precious family. All newborn sessions include your newborn, sibling, and family portraits.
At your newborn session, you can let us pamper you, Mama. Put your feet up and relax, while you receive hair & makeup services complimentary! These sessions are created around a stress-free AND enjoyable experience while preserving life's most special moments.
As a client, you will also have access to my studio wardrobe for options for both Mom and siblings. Moms also are treated to hair and makeup at their session. As a Philly & Main Line newborn photographer my goal is to make your experience a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable one!

Don't know what wear for pictures? Tired of the dreaded returns? I have you covered, literally! My studio is home to my curated client wardrobe. Clients have access to utilize my beautiful wardrobe pieces to style Mom, babies, and children. You can now check another to do item. Finding the perfect outfits for pictures is on me ! After booking your session, you have the option to set up a wardrobe appointment with Ashley and she will walk you through all the options!

As a mom, I know we get everyone ready and then hurry to get ourselves ready as quickly as we can. Mamas, let my hair and makeup team pamper you the day of your session! Your hair and makeup will be taken care of, another item you can cross of your to- do! Also, I am very proud to say the hair and makeup artists I work with are professionally Covid-19 certified, meaning they follow all necessary beauty precautions to keep you safe!

gallery reveal
About 2 weeks after your session, you will have your gallery reveal where I will show you your gallery of images! This can be done wither virtually or at the studio. Once you have seen your gallery, I will help you select the perfect products for your family, whether that be a beautiful wall gallery, a statement piece for above your mantle, or an album to showcase you art, Ashley helps turn your digital images into artwork you can cherish everyday in your home.

When you have a baby, you quickly realize your little one is continuously changing before your eyes. From the baby bump to birth, to smiling, sitting, standing and all the milestones in between capturing these special moments become even more valuable.
My First Year Collective Membership allows families to purchase either 3 or 4 sessions at once while saving money on their session fees as well as enjoying perks like complimentary birth announcements.
The First Year Membership highlights the big moments and milestones. The most popular milestones families like to capture during their membership are maternity, newborn, 6 month/sitting, and one year. I love having the opportunity to tell each baby's story over the course of one year. The best part, at the end of that year, you have a beautiful heirloom album commemorating your child’s growth!

When booking Philadelphia and Main Line newborn photography sessions, I only take a limited amount per month to allow flexibility in my schedule since most babies don't arrive on their actual due date! For this reason, I recommend reaching out early in the first trimester.
When is the best time to book for a newborn session?

Over the years, I have found the best window of time is between 2-3 weeks old. However, I have photographed newborn babies up to 6 weeks old.
What age do you find is best to photograph newborns?

Absolutely!! I encourage this! While I photograph the baby, I also spend a good portion of the session capturing those sweet moments between you, your family, and your little one. Those moments with your baby lovingly nestled in your arm will become ones that you forever treasure!
Are family and siblings included?

Another yes from me! I love animals and welcome dogs into the studio (as long as they are friendly!). I know how important it can be to include your fur baby in your family portraits.
Can we bring our dog?

Yes, hair and makeup comes complimentary with all sessions. Being a Mom, I have been there, done that with newborn photos and know how hard it can be to get out the door while looking presentable. Pampering and fully serving my moms is something that I love to do throughout the process.

I do offer the option of in-home newborn sessions, however, I only take a limited amount per month. With in-home Main Line newborn photography sessions, I always recommend utilizing the nursery, the master bedroom, or any other well-lit space in your home.
Do you offer in-home newborn sessions?

Prior to starting my photography business, I worked as a Register Nurse. With this as background, I understand to the fullest why safety is so important. I am up to date on all vaccines, including TDAP. I have also been following all appropriate Covid precautions to keep you and your baby safe.
Since you will be working with my Baby, Are you up to date on your vaccines?

Being a mom to four young kids, I get it. I know what it is like to be on the other side of the lens. I am very comfortable around kids and have some tricks up my sleeve to get your little ones to warm up to the camera. I never rush a session so we can take our time. I always aim for my sessions to be fun and stress free for both the parents and the kiddos!
