When Bree, from BreeisforBeauty – a Lehigh Valley Newborn Photographer, reached out to book her in-home newborn session, I was honored. It truly is such a compliment when other photographers entrust me with their memories. She was pregnant with her 5th baby girl (yes- you read that right, FIVE girls) and was looking to document her family as they welcomed their new little love into their home. I was so excited to capture this beautiful family, and preserve these precious moments as they start their new chapter of life as a family of seven.
As a mom of four, I know firsthand how busy life is so I knew that with five kids at home, she was looking for a full service experience. As a Doylestown in-home newborn photographer, this full service experience includes wardrobe and styling, in addition to hair and makeup. One of my wonderful hair and makeup gals, Kat from KatReboh, pampered this stunning Mama prior to her session so she could enjoy the process and not feel the usual Mom stress of trying to get ready while simultaneously taking care of kids!
Once hair and makeup was complete, and wardrobe options were decided and our session together began with some Mommy/daughter portraits in the nursery. Sweet Eloise’s nursery was straight out of a Pinterest board. Pink walls, with an accent wall covered in gorgeous floral wallpaper by Wallpaperie.com. Her furniture was carefully curated to bring in antique elements giving it a stunning vintage vibe. It literally was the dream baby girl nursery. Every last detail carefully coordinated and knew it was going to make for one gorgeous backdrop.
While photographing in-home Newborn sessions, one of my goals is to capture life just as it is. I want to make sure we preserve these precious little moments. I want these pictures years from now allow you to reminisce and remember just how it felt. From snuggling your sweet baby, to watching your kids fall in love with their littlest sibling (even if that includes a jumping toddler- see picture), these are the moments I want you to forever cherish and hold on to!
I adore this shot of the whole family snuggled onto the bed. With four kids of my own, I know how quickly time passes and one day moments like these will be treasured more that we can ever imagine! Candid shots like these truly bottle up those moments for you to treasure years from today.
