It was so great to meet this beautiful family and document the start of their journey into parenthood. It was such a pleasure to photograph Baby A. He was the sweetest and most content little babe. As a Princeton newborn photographer, the part of my job I love most is being able to witness and document the beginning of a family’s story. As new parents, it feels surreal and life with a baby is still settling in. Let’s be honest, it takes some time to adjust and get into a good rhythm/routine once you bring your baby home. The start of your family’s story is always a beautiful one. I can guarantee that these images will forever be looked back on. It’s amazing how time flies once you have kids. Each year seems to go by quicker then the next.
As your baby grows and changes and you bring more children into the world, these will be the photographs your family look at and say “remember when”. I can say this with confidence as I do this myself with my own family. After having 4 children, I always look back at my first born’s newborn session with such fondness. I try to remember the days where I only had one little baby and life as a mom was brand new. It feels like forever ago and yesterday all at once.
That is the beautiful thing about photographs, they allow you to travel back and relive those moments. Without pictures, memories would slowly fade. Those tiny details you’re always want to hang onto would be forgotten over time. This is one of the many reasons why I make sure to capture all those details. I want to make sure none of those cherished memories goes forgotten!
