While planning this beautiful baby’s session, his Mom shared with me that she really would love to have the session at the beach.
Being a Newtown PA family photographer, I take a handful of sessions that are at the beach per summer. For this session, we were able to coordinate a date so we could create the session she was dreaming of. We met for our session in Ocean City, NJ at one of my favorite spots to hold sessions. The light is dreamy, the crowds are low, and we have plenty of backdrops to work with.
When booking family sessions, we always discuss locations and what each client’s preference is. Some love open fields, some prefer beautiful architecture, while others like parks. Each location that I present clients with offer something different but all provide a beautiful backdrop for a family session.
We were also celebrating their sweet boy turning 6 months. I had last seen them for their newborn session, which honestly, feels like yesterday. It wasn’t too long after that, when we began to plan their next session. One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to document a family’s journey. I love getting to meet family at their newborn session and then grow with them as their family grows. I have some families who I have been with them since baby #1 and they are now on baby #3 or even 4. That is the biggest compliment I can ever receive!
