Living in the Northeast, our climate does not allow for beautiful outdoor maternity pictures in the middle of winter. Unless, of course, we have a fresh snowy white landscape, which is pretty hard to time! However, a wonderful alternative for any season, is a studio maternity session. That’s the best part of maternity photography, location options are endless but the studio makes for a gorgeous timeless look.
This beautiful Mama is expecting baby #2 any day now! We had originally scheduled our session for outdoors, but the 40 degree and gusty wind forecast quickly changed her mind. We moved the session to in the studio and I am so glad we did. Her images are stunning! The warmth of the studio also was much more welcoming for her 2 year old daughter who was also part of the session!
Another perk with an in studio maternity session is that it allows you the option for a wardrobe change. Mom choose two completely different looks. One simple & chic and one glam & sparkly! Her hair and makeup was done by Nancy from Nancy Caroline Beauty.
