Going from a family of three to four isn’t always the easiest, but this sweet family made it look effortless. Sometimes, toddlers, specifically the ages of 18 months- 3 year old can be a little bit of a coin toss with how well they take to their new baby, especially during a photography session. I have some tricks up my sleeves just in case things start to go south, but we didn’t need any tricks for this brother/sister duo. I seriously love the sibling shots we got of them. It doesn’t always have to be the traditional big sibling holding little sibling. I like to embrace the ages of the kids and capture the stage that they are at. For this session we utilized my favorite Moses baskets and had big brother give kisses and sit next to his new little sister. Perfect for this age where they aren’t the best (most reliable) at holding the baby. I know Mom and Dad will cherish this moment between their babies for many years to come!
