Living in Pennsylvania our early Spring and late Winters can be a bit unpredictable. You never know the weather as we have mild days mixed with extreme cold, especially this year when we had many 50-60 degree winter days.
For this Mama’s maternity session, we had a beautiful outdoor location picked out in Doylestown, PA and hoped for one of those mild winter days. Well, instead we got rain on our session date. So we picked an alternated date but then last minute decided to do an in-home maternity session and I am so glad we did! We had dreamy light and it let us focus on the portraits rather than the extreme wind that was happening outside! Even when the best of plans fall through, it always works out!
I have been photographing this family since their first was born and I am so happy I get to continue the journey with them as they welcome their second into this world. I can’t wait to meet her for her newborn session soon!
