I have a special place in my heart for maternity sessions. I truly love and enjoy photographing this season in a woman’s life. It’s such a special and memorable time and should be documented so you can always look back and cherish those moments. Additionally, Never will you experience this joy and journey again (with the exception of if you have more babies ;)). As a Philadelphia Maternity Photographer, I am honored to have the opportunity to capture that for each and every family.
Maternity Photographer Philadelphia – As you prepare for your baby, you find your list of to-dos growing each day. Being a mom myself, I know how this list can become daunting therefore, I’m here to make that list a little bit shorter and, the best part, pamper you through the process.
With the ABP experience, I like to treat expecting and new moms like queens receiving the royal treatment. It’s my goal to create a joyful and relaxing experience. As I have mentioned, from the very beginning of the process, I want to make your maternity session enjoyable and something for you to look forward to! Over the years I have found some things that make these sessions a memory that moms will always look back on and cherish.
Here are my top three ways to make the best of your maternity session.
1. Put your feet up, relax, and get pampered. Let someone else do your hair and makeup while you get to sit back and enjoy the moment. All of my sessions include hair and makeup, subsequently, you don’t even have to worry about making that appointment. It’s done for you; you just have to show up! My wonderful hair and makeup artist, Nancy from Nancy Caroline Beauty, will give you the royal treatment!
2. I’m here to help style you! You want to be comfortable yet still feel like that glowing mom-to-be that you are! As your maternity photographer I will help style you and you will even get access to my client wardrobe. My wardrobe is home to many dresses from glam ones to simple and chic ones. No need to stress about what to wear. I’ve got you covered, literally!
3. Make a day /night out of it. Hair and makeup, followed by your session, followed by your favorite dinner! What a special day creating memories! If it is your first baby, enjoy a nice dinner out (bonus- you will have the best hair and makeup in the restaurant!). Depending where our shoot location is, treat yourself to some delicious foods whether at Stella in New Hope, LaStalla in Newtown, or Fork in Philadelphia. Let me be honest for a minute -I wish I had this experience with my first baby. I chose not to do maternity portraits and I deeply regret it. I know for a fact if I had an experience like this it would always be something I looked back and smiled on. Best part, you have beautiful portraits to remember it by!! If this isn’t your first baby and you have your kids in tow, you may want to skip the fancy dinner. Nonetheless, by all means, treat yourself to your favorite dessert spot! This is a treat the whole family will enjoy and your kids will have positive memories of their photo session remembering their sweet treat after!! Win, win!
