It feels like yesterday that we began the planning stages of this sweet girl’s newborn session. Little did we know, months later a pandemic would hit and alter our plans. Right as Covid began and lockdowns were put into place, this beautiful baby was born. After discussing options with her Mom, we decided to wait to do her portraits and we both agreed that since newborn wasn’t going to be a good option, 6 months would be the next best milestone to capture. Six months or right around when a baby begins to sit independently is one of the most fun ages to capture. I like to call them happy little sitters because then are usually just so content sitting up and smiling for Mama!
For Miss C’s session, Mom also wanted some sibling portraits. When photographing families or siblings, I always like for the backdrop to be a timeless and classic….something that I know can hang on a wall forever and never become outdated. We chose to dress the kiddos in whites and neutrals. Baby girl is wearing all items from my studio wardrobe, plus her Baptism gown for some images. What a gorgeous and sweet family. I am so happy that I was finally able to get them in the studio and document such a special time for them.
